avocado oatmeal face mask
avocado oatmeal face mask
I've recently been getting bad breakouts. Please help me :/?

Ok, so I'm a teen, and I'm drinking my daily amount of water. Well for the past 3 or 4 days, I have been breaking out on my nose, some on my cheeks, and bad on my forehead. I'm trying to fix my diet of cutting out to many sugary foods, but I have strong temptations, as a teen. Anyways, I just started using this new shampoo VO5, but I don't know if that is causing the breakouts. I have not had a period in several months ( not pregnant), but I think I have the symptoms every month, which right now I would be on it. I live in the southern part of America where it's pretty humid. I take showers daily, not so good on my vitamins, I have been washing my face with avocado & oatmeal masks, honey & oatmeal masks ( 20 minutes ago), using a loofah in the shower. I don't know what else to do, please help.

Home treatment for acne has a lot of advantages over traditional over-the-counter remedies. Although most of them are only for mild to moderate conditions, they have been found to be generally effective, safe and cheaper than branded remedies.

An appropriate home treatment for acne is available to every major skin type. To guide you on you selection, here are a few tips.

1. For oily skin. This is the type most prone to acne and the one that requires constant care and monitoring. The most important part of caring for oily skin is keeping it clean. Fresh milk has been found effective in minimizing the oil in the skin. This should be used like a facial wash before going to bed.

Face packs and masks are also recommended for oily skin types. Tomatoes; honey mixed with egg; oatmeal; or yoghurt are the most effective home remedies for people with oily skin. You can choose any of these ingredients and mix them until they become clay-like (except for the mixture of honey and egg which could be used as facial mask). Pat the resulting pack on the face and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash it off with clean water afterwards.

2. For dry skin. The primary concern for dry skin is keeping it soft and moisturized. Dry skin can also become prone to pimples and other skin breakouts. The best home-made formulas for keeping dry skin healthy are those made from fresh fruits. You can use mashed papaya, mango, avocado or peach to make a face pack that can be applied to the skin. Leave the pack on for 30 minutes then wash it off with clean water. For better results, add more fresh vegetables and fruits to your diet and increase your daily intake of water.

3. For sensitive skin. Choose your remedies carefully - that's the first thing you need to remember about sensitive skin. This type of skin still needs to be taken care of and maintained, and using natural products is your best option since they are less likely to harm you. But before using any fruit or home-made mixture, make sure that you are not allergic to any of them. You could try applying your prepared mixture on a patch of skin in your arm to see how it reacts. If you get rashes or redness from any formula, stop using it immediately.

Your best option, if you have sensitive skin, is to use the purest home-made remedy; and your best bet will likely be fresh fruits. You can use orange rinds, lemon juice, papaya and avocado as facial masks or facial wash. Use the meat of the fruit or its juice and not the skin or peel; the rough edges of the fruit skin might cause your skin to get irritated. Aloe vera (the sticky, juicy substance found inside when you cut it) is also a potential cure if you have acne.

When choosing your home treatment for acne, you should always consider your type of skin. Knowing what your skin needs and what sets off allergic reactions is important before you go about mixing materials in your bowl. Once you find what's appropriate for you, then you can spend your time happily making the pack or wash or mask that can help you keep those pimples at bay.

how to plant avocado plant
how to plant avocado plant

Avocado and avocado oil offers so many benefits when used in your skin products. Did you know that avocado contains vitamins A, B1, B2 and D, lecithin, potassium as well as vitamin E. In addition to the vitamins it contains proteins and more than 20% essential fatty acids (amino acids). It is a sought after skin care ingredient because it has so much to offer.

Avocados are used in anti-aging products because of its nourishing and hydrating abilities. The Department of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, Technion Israel Institute of Technology in 1991 found that avocado oil significantly increases collagen in the skin which is why it is commonly found in antiaging products. Furthermore because of its deep penetration into the skin it is a perfect ingredient to combat dry skin. For those that suffer with eczema or psoriasis avocado offers healing properties that will relive dryness. Both avocado and avocado oil is gentle and well tolerated by those with sensitive skin.

In addition to its moisturizing and healing properties, it is also high in sterolins, AKA plant steroids, which are reported to diminish age spots and heal scars.

Below are a few avocado skin care recipes:

Facial Mask for Dry Skin
1/2 avocado
1 teaspoon almond oil (Note if allergic to nuts use different oil such as jojoba oil or olive oil). Even a vegetable oil in your cupboard will do.)
Mash avocado and then add almond oil or oil of your choice. Apply to face, avoiding the eye area, and let set for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water then cool water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

Avocado Honey Face Mask - for dry skin
2 tablespoons of avocado
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg yolk
Mash the avocado, add the honey and egg. Mix until thoroughly blended. Apply to face avoiding the eye area. Let set 10 minutes then rise with warm water then cool water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

Avocado Mask for Oily Skin
1 avocado, mash
1 egg white
1 tsp. lemon juice
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until you get a mixture. Apply to a clean face with fingertips on the oiliest part of the face (T-zone). Let dry for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water then cool water, follow with toner and moisturizer.

Avocado's can be hard to find and/or a little pricey if living in a northern climate, so here are some recipes that use avocado oil instead.

Dry Skin Cleansing Cream
1/2 oz. Beeswax
1 oz. Lanolin
2 oz. Almond Oil
1 oz. Avocado Oil
1 oz. Grapeseed Oil
2 drops Clary-Sage Essential Oil
2 drops Lemon Essential Oil
3 oz. Spring Water
Using a double boiler, melt beeswax, lanolin, and oils. Stir well. When melted, take off heat and add essential oils, then water. Wisk until cool.

Unrefined avocado oil is considered to be one of the most healthful vegetable oils one can consume. It is a multi-purpose oil that can be used for culinary purposes (it is exceptionally high in Vitamin E  as well as monounsaturated fats), suitable for dressings and sauces as well as frying, due to its high smoke point of over 490 degrees. Organic avocado oil is also an excellent “carrier” oil for other flavors; avocado carrier oil is ideal for infusion with various herbs. In addition to its suitability as a comestible, unrefined avocado oil is also excellent for use as a cosmetic and the repair of damaged skin.

Historical Background

Bulk avocado oil comes from the fruit of the same name. The scientific name of the tree from which we obtain organic avocado oil is Persea Americana. It is native to the Caribbean coast of Mexico, and was apparently known to pre-Incan peoples of present-day Peru. The word avocado itself is derived from a word in the Nahuatl language, ahuacatl, which literally means “testicle.” This is most likely a reference to the shape of the fruit; among the Aztecs, avocados were believed to confer fertility and have aphrodisiac properties.

Europeans could not have known of the benefits of organic avocado oil much before 1500; the first written descriptions of the fruit dates from a Spanish geography text written about 1520, and the first English accounts were not published until over 180 years later.

Although not initially raised to obtain bulk avocado oil, the plant itself was first exported abroad in 1750, when the first avocado trees were planted in Indonesia. It arrived in Brazil about fifty years later; by the 1890s, avocado groves had been established in Rhodesia (present-day Kenya) and Australia. It was introduced in Lebanon and Palestine (present-day Israel) in 1908.

Today the plants that are the source of healthful organic avocado oil are grown primarily in Mexico. California, Australia, New Zealand and Kenya.

What Is an Avocado?

Although it grows on a tree and has a pit, it is actually considered a berry; that is, the source of bulk avocado oil is a fruit produced from a single ovary which ripens into a fleshy, edible pulp surrounded by a skin. Seeds are embedded within this pulp.

Botanically, the avocado is a member of the laurel family, along with the bay tree and cinnamon. There are over a dozen types of avocados grown today; however, the most common varieties are the hass avocado, which is a black-colored fruit with a pebbled skin texture and a bulk avocado oil content of approximately 19%, and the pinkerton, which has a smooth green skin.

Unlike most types of vegetable oils which are derived from seeds, organic avocado oil is extracted from the fleshy pulp of the fruit.

More About Avocado Oil

As mentioned earlier, avocado carrier oil is fine for creating different flavored oils. Although fine for humans and other primates, organic avocado oil contains a fatty acid known as persin, which can be highly toxic to domestic animals, particularly dogs, cats and horses.

Although avocados are a perennial crop in those regions in which they are grown (they can survive temperatures down to 26 degrees Fahrenheit), organic avocado oil can be expensive as relatively little of the crop is actually pressed for oil. It does however compare quite well to olive oil for taste and body; true gourmands consider the extra cost for organic avocado oil well worth it.

Where can I find a homemade-all-natural conditioner recipe?

That I can pre-make use on a daily basis, without using perishables like eggs, avocado and mayo?

Try honey, olive oil, buttermilk, and non-bleached flour. The honey will be the conditioner and the flour is to make it a paste so you can put it in your hair. There are more at hairboutique.com, something like that. You can search for "honey for hair" and it'll bring up some natural hair recipe sites. I've done the whole thing once and it was conditioning, but not enough for my hair. I've also used honey by itself and mixed with olive oil and it's made my hair shiny and brought out my natural brown highlights that I haven't seen in about a year.

make avocado face mask
What's an avocado mask recipe?

My friend and I want to make a face mask with some avocado, but can't find any good recipes. :'( Post some that will moistorize the skin but won't cause acne. :D

First recipe is for Avocado Face Mask for Dry and Sensitive Skin

Ingredients:

1 avocado

3-4 drops of almond oil

Preparation

* Peel and mash avocado and add almond oil until the mass is consistent.
* Apply to face while massaging it gently.
* Let it rest for 30 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Before you move on to the next mask, here is avocado trivia for you:

Can you answer this? Is avocado a fruit or vegetable?

It's a fruit :) For some reason, I always thought it was a vegetable.

On to the next facial mask....

Moisturizing Avocado facial mask recipe

Ingredients:

1 avocado

1 teaspoon of apple vinegar

1 egg white

3 teaspoons of olive oil

Preparation:

* Peel and mash avocado and start adding the rest of the ingredients. Egg white should be beaten before you put it in.
* When the mass is done, apply to face and wash off after 20 minutes or so.
* This mask provides great moisture for skin, making it soft and elastic.

I use both of these masks weekly and really like the results that I get. I also recommend them to all my friends who like sun tanning, they are an excellent way to replenish the skin's moisture after a long day in the sun :)

STOP wasting time trying out expensive, chemicals-filled skin care products. Save money and make your own facial masks now.

So you are seriously thinking of making a homemade face mask, well here are some fun ideas that are sure to work in one way or the other. First off you have to determine what type of skin you have whether it is oily, dry, normal, and so on, and remember you can extend your face mask to your neck, arms and shoulders to give you that all round finished look. Face masks have been used since the beginning of time; in the olden days people used to make face masks out of natural ingredients to keep their face soft and smooth.

You can use some natural ingredients found in your kitchen to whip up a face mask that will have your skin looking smooth, glowing and toned in just a few minutes. Ingredients such as eggs, almonds, honey, cucumber, avocados, skimmed milk and fruits and vegetable can be used to make simple face masks that actually work wonders for the skin. It is also important to use ingredients that are best suited to your skin, as some people are allergic to such things as milk, eggs and nuts among other things, so be sure to choose the right ingredient that suits your skin type best.

Some homemade face masks have been known to give excellent results, but some say the secret to getting the best results out of your homemade face mask is relaxation. When you are giving yourself a face mask treatment you should not be doing the dishes or ironing your clothes, you should put up your feet and watch some television or read a good book. This way your face and your whole body will be benefiting from this process. Also in order for face masks to be really effective you should do this procedure once a week, don't think that you can do it just one time and you will see a great improvement, you have to follow up and in time you will notice a vast improvement in your skin.

The best recommended homemade face masks are those that are gentle on the skin, such as the yogurt and strawberry face masks, the recipe calls for three tablespoons of yogurt and three large strawberries. After you have whipped them together, you simply apply it to your face and put your feet up and relax for about ten minutes, then rinse it off with water. The yogurt is supposed to clean and nourish the skin while the strawberries help exfoliates the dead skin cells.

benefits of avocado on face
benefits of avocado on face
What are the benefits of using avocado on your face?

And do you have to get some kind of specially made scrub, or can you just get avocado from the store and crush it up and use it on your face?

You can use just plain mashed avocado. It is highly moisturizing for dry skin. Don't use it if you have oliy skin. If you do I recommend using strawberries instead.

Avocados: How do I keep Avocados fresh after I cut them into pieces?

I like to bring a 1/2 Avocado with me to work to eat with my lunch. However, if I cut them into pieces and put them in a little tupperware tub, by lunch time, the avocados get brown spots. I also tried to wrap a half of Avocad in saran wrap, but by lunch it also has brown spots. What can I do to prevent this?

Easy, just add lemon to it.

Homemade face masks ? ?

what can i use to make a face mask besides Avocado that are homemade ?

Making a facial mask at home is quite easy and inexpensive. Home made facial masks containing natural ingredients are quick and simple to create at home. The best facial mask is honey. Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Baking soda removes conditioner build-up from your hair. Rub in and rinse thoroughly, then shampoo with your regular shampoo. Use warm cloth to open pores, smear on honey, leave on 15 to 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and then use cold water to close pores. Avocado is a naturally rich moisturizer. Mash the meat of the avocado into a creamy texture. Grape juice makes an excellent cleanser for any skin type. Simply split one or two large grapes, remove pips and rub the flesh over face and neck.

Egyptian facial mask-A little egg, a little milk, a little olive oil and you have the makings of an ancient mask. Grape cleanser-split 2-3 grapes and rub the flesh over face and neck. Rinse with cool water. Massage into the face and neck . Leave on for 15 minutes and gently rinse off. Dry Skin Mask-mix 1 tsp. of butter in 1 teaspoon of water. Apply it thoroughly into all the dry areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Another facial mask is oatmeal facial mask-take 2 tsp oatmeal and 1 tsp baking soda and add water to make paste. Apply to face and all over the skin and rub gently. Do not apply any type of facial mask just before a special occasion, the reason for this is the drawing power of the mask can flush the skin.

Facial mask for sensitive skin-warm some hone to melt it, then apply. Leave the mask on for 20-25 minutes. A little oil, mashed artichoke and lemon juice is all you need for this mask. All the amounts needed are included in this recipe. Papaya facial mask-peel and remove seeds. Chop into pieces and drop into food processor. Puree until papaya is the consistancy of baby food. Use 1/2 a tablespoon for each facial. Keep leftovers in a baggie in the frig. Face mask for sunburned skin mix 1 cup plain yogurt and ½ cup oatmeal and apply to the skin for 15 minutes. Mash banana and avacado, combine with other ingredients, and mix well. Apply liberally to face and neck. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Banana-Avacado Mask ingredients 1/2 over-ripe banana ,1/2 over-ripe avacado ,2 Tbsp unflavored full-fat yogurt and 1 tsp olive oil ,Mash banana and avacado, combine with other ingredients, and mix well. Apply liberally to face and neck. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Lighten circles under eyes Recipe-to lighten dark circles under your eyes, wrap a grated raw potato in cheesecloth and apply to eyelids for 15-20 minutes. Wipe off residue and apply an eye cream. Ingredients 4-5 very ripe med-size strawberries ,2 tsp. heavy cream and 1 tsp. honey. Puree strawberries, cream and honey together in a blender. Apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

avocado honey face mask recipe

Dry skin is most commonly prone to wrinkles and lines as it is unable to retain moisture and the sebaceous glands cannot produce sufficient amounts of sebum. This type of skin becomes often dehydrated and needs special care by continually moisturizing it. Masks for dry skin are made of chamomile, lavender, peppermint, bananas, avocado, honey, milk, yoghurt, tomato, egg yolk, butter, strawberries etc.
Dry skin can benefit a lot from periodical use of hydrating masks. They have many moisturizing ingredients that help the skin to have more balance. They may have plant extract, essential oils, and nourishing vegetable oils or milk derivates.

To make classic facial mask at home for dry skin, take 1/2 avocado and 1/4 cup of honey. Mash together these 2 ingredients for an easy face mask. Apply to your face and leave for 5 minutes before removing with a washcloth and some trepid water. You will definitely enjoy the smell and feeling of this mask on your face. Honey and avocado are particularly rich in moisturizing properties.

Generally benefits of avocado are numerous: it is filled with monounsaturated fats, Vitamin B and E, nutrients excellent for moisturizing and rejuvenating dry or tired skin. Use this fruit in the next masks too.
First recipe: take 1 avocado and 3-4 drops of almond oil. Peel and mash avocado and add almond oil until the mass is consistent. Apply to face while massaging it gently. Let it rest for 30 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
Second recipe: you need 1 avocado, 1 teaspoon of apple vinegar, 1 egg white, 3 teaspoons of olive oil. Peel and mash avocado and start adding the rest of the ingredients. Egg white should be beaten before you put it in. When the mass is done, apply to face and wash off after 20 minutes or so. This mask provides great moisture for skin, making it soft and elastic.

To prevent wrinkles, make a paste of bananas, yogurt and honey and apply it on the skin for 15-20 minutes then clean it with warm water. You’ll need 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey and 1 banana.

Refreshing tomato mask. You need 1/4 peeled and seedless tomato. Chop it. 3 teaspoons of yogurt, 1 teaspoon peeled and then grated cucumber, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, 3 teaspoons of oatmeal (finely ground). Additional ingredients are 2 mint leaves, fresh and crushed so the essential oils run out of the leaves. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Apply on the face and leave on for about 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Popular milk mask for face. Take 1 teaspoon powdered milk, 1 tablespoon runny honey, 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel and 2 drops essential oil and mix ingredients well. Apply to face, let sit for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water. If you want to find facial masks recipes for another types of skin, please, go to http://www.beautifulskinblog.com.

Regular facial treatments can improve skin texture, tone and overall appearance. A facial is a cosmetic treatment of the face, commonly involving a variety of skin treatments, grooming steps and deep cleansing of the face by various means including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, masks, peels, and massage. As we age facial muscles weaken, and skin begins to sag. But just as gym workouts can promote the body's youthful strength and suppleness, facial exercise - based on the same principles of dynamic resistance - can strengthen facial muscles.

Facials are designed to eliminate clogged pores, blackheads, and other impurities affecting the appearance and overall health of the skin. Facial treatments incorporate a variety of grooming steps that can include the use of creams, masks, peels, steam, exfoliation, extraction, lotions, and massage.

The facial nerve is mixed nerve containing both sensory and motor components. The nerve emanates from the brain stem at the ventral part of the pontomedullary junction. The nerve enters the internal auditory meatus where the sensory part of the nerve forms the geniculate ganglion. Plastic surgeons use facial implants to improve and enhance facial contours. Frequently, these implants will help provide a more harmonious balance to your face and features so that you feel better about the way you look.

Microderm is an amazing way to exfoliate the dull top layer of skin to reveal smoother, more radiant and beautiful skin beneath. Microderm has many benefits which include; improving the texture of skin by smoothing the surface, diminishing fine lines, improving the appearance of acne scars, and encouraging breakouts to heal. It improves the skin's tone and texture by increasing your skin cell's ability to renew at the cellular level while also stimulating collagen production for firmer skin. Microderm removes dull skin and surface debris allowing the nutrients of the facial to penetrate and perform more effectively.

A facial is given by a licensed esthetician with special training in skin care. A facial usually starts around $75 at a day spa in a smaller city. Prices will be higher at destination spas, resort and hotel spas. Special masks and serums also make the price go higher.

Cucumber Facial

Peel the cucumber and run it through a blender or a food processor. Pour the cucumber pulp into a colander or strainer and force it through, catching the liquid that comes out in a bowl underneath. Combine the cucumber liquid with the lemon juice and the witch hazel. Stir it and add the beaten egg white gently. Put it on your face and leave it on for 15 to 25 minutes, then rinse off.

For oily skin, use a clay-based face mask. For dry skin, go for a hydrating gel or cream mask. Apply the mask, avoiding the areas around the eyes. Keep it on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse completely.

You can purchase a mask or make your own at home. Honey and egg whites are very good and effective standbys. For dry skin, try using a mashed banana or avocado. The herbs that work for you will depend on your specific skin qualities. Experiment with a variety of herbs until you find the ones that work best.

Foods that can enhance your appearance need to feature as many of the following as possible: antioxidants, antibacterials, fibre to clear toxins, essential fats to support skin and reduced levels of saturated fat and sugar. The sorts of foods where you'll get this kind of combination are: fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, fish, pulses, nuts and seeds.

avocado powder
i heard this is a good mud mask recipe, is it?

Egg, Avocado & Mud Facial Mask Recipe

Clay is available in powder form at any health food store. Mix 1 tablespoon dry clay with 1 egg yolk, 1/4 of a mashed avocado and enough witch hazel to create a smooth mixture. Mud dries excess sebum while the egg yolk and avocado replenish lost moisture. Witch hazel tones.
Is this Ok to use?
some one says its good for when your in your 50s...is it?

It sounds okay to use, and I don't see how it would do any harm. I'm not into my 50's yet, so let me know how it works for you.

Looking for a delicious and healthy summer recipe? You are going to love this. My inspiration for making this salad came after eating a very similar dish at a popular restaurant that I frequently visit. Actually, this is something my Wife and I like to do every once in a while. After we eat a dish that we are particularly fond of, we like to go home and try and re-create the recipe without knowing the ingredients. Try it... It's a fun way to see just how sensitive those taste buds really are....

FARMERS MARKET

I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful farmers market not too far from my home. There is just something special about shopping for produce in a farmers market. The variety and quality of the produce found in my local farmers market is far superior to the boring old supermarket. I know I am getting as close to organic as possible when I shop there, so if you have one near you, I highly recommend you visit and see what they have to offer. Usually the folks there are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products so don't be afraid to ask questions.

INGREDIENTS

Here are the ingredients you will need to make this wonderful salad:

- 1 Pound of Chicken Cutlets Grilled and Cut Into Strips - I like to use the thin sliced chicken as it cooks really fast and is easy to cut into strips.

- Southwestern Spice Rub:

2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 8 Ounces of Mixed Salad Greens - I like to use a mix of Baby Romaine, Radicchio and Tango. If you can't find fresh greens, I recommend buying a bag of Fresh Express brand mixed salad greens. I have sampled a handful of salad brands and Fresh Express is by far the best in my opinion. The vegetable are always fresh, crisp and delicious. Everything is pre-washed and there are no preservatives.

2 Ripe Avocados Cut Into Small Chunks - It is very important that you choose ripened avocados. When looking for ripe avocados, do not choose them based on color. The best way to determine if they are ripe is by the squeeze test. Ripe avocados will have a firm flesh but will give slightly when squeezed. Unripened avocados are hard and will not give. You should be able to tell the difference. It may take a bit of practice though. If you are unsure, ask for help. A ripe avocado should slice like butter.

1 Large Green Bell Pepper Cut Into Squares

2 Ears of Roasted Corn (Instructions Below)

Half of a Red Onion Sliced

A Healthy Bunch of Fresh Cilantro Chopped

1/2 Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Ranch Dressing

DIRECTIONS

Step 1 - Soak the Corn, husks and all, in cold water for 30 minutes.

Step 2 - While corn is soaking, prepare the chicken cutlets. Lightly coat the chicken with olive oil and sprinkle some southwestern spice rub on both sides. Rub the spices into the chicken. Refrigerate and allow the chicken to marinate while the corn is soaking.

Step 3 - After corn is done soaking, preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Place corn directly on oven rack and roast for approximately 30 minutes or until the corn is relatively soft. Remove from oven and let the corn cool.

Step 4 - Preheat indoor or outdoor grill. Get the grill nice and hot. Grill chicken cutlets for about 2 minutes on each side, or until done. Remove from grill and allow to cool.

Step 5 - While the chicken and corn is cooling, add the remaining ingredients into a large bowl.

Step 6 - Remove corn from cob. Hold corn upright over a cutting board. Using a knife, gently cut the corn from the cob in a downward motion. Be careful!

Step 7 - Slice the chicken into thin strips.

Step 8 - Add the corn and chicken to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 9 - Add the ranch dressing and toss the salad. The amount of ranch dressing you add is really up to you. It depends on your personal preference. I like to add about 1/4 cup.

Your done! Serve and enjoy!

Avocado is also known as Alligator Pear originated in southern Mexico. It has become a useful ingredient for our daily skin care routine. It is rich in fat as well as protein. These fats are monounsaturated which is good for a healthy heart. The provision of vitamin E in avocado helps the heart to remain fit. It is also known to supply 60% more potassium in comparison to banana.

It is also rich in fiber, foliate (folic acid), vitamin B6, iron, copper and magnesium. Other than applying avocado on your skin, consuming it in salad form can also be beneficial for your skin. Avocado contains vitamins like A, D, and E which has penetrating qualities to improve your skin. Avocado oil is also very useful for skin care. what do you think about my poem? My Random Poem?

MY RANDOM POEM

My hands are red
Yours are blue
My socks are old
Yours are new

I want to eat a pickle
But you don't
I want to eat an avocado
But you won't

I ran a mile
You ran ten
When I asked "How?"
You said "When."

My eyes are orange
Yours are yellow
When I asked who you were
You said "Just a fellow."

I have snow
You're wanting it
I could send it to you
With a baseball mitt

My room is circle
Yours is square
When I asked what to draw
You said silverware

See now?
This is me being random
Tell me is this how?
To be random

*I stink at being random, so I wrote this poem for one of my friends, who tries very hard to get me to be random

Hee Hee, I like it!!
