Buying collagen skin repair creams without learning about the ingredients is like playing Russian roulette with your skin’s health and appearance. A collagen booster might be exactly what you need, but it could just be a waste of money. What’s worse, it could cause adverse reactions and this is not the time to have that happen.

As you get older, your skin becomes thinner and more easily damaged. The damage takes longer to heal and is more likely to become permanent. Anytime that you have an adverse reaction to a skincare product, inflammation occurs. Inflammation damages the elastic fibers.

So, it is very important that any collagen skin repair cream you use is free of irritants and allergens. If the product bears a warning label that says something like “discontinue use if a rash develops, persists or worsens” don’t buy it. There are enough good products on the market. There is no need to take the extra risk.

A collagen booster should stimulate the production of new elastic fibers. One of the natural ingredients that have been shown to do that is avocado extract. One study showed that it increased the amount of pro-collagen molecules present in the skin’s layers.

Those pro-collagen molecules combine with other proteins and vitamin C to form the elastic fibers responsible for your skin’s strength and firmness. Normally, production of elastic fibers slows down with age, which is why one might need a collagen booster in the first place.

Collagen skin repair creams should be free of artificial preservatives and added fragrances, because those are the two most likely causes of allergic reaction. Natural vitamin E is a perfectly good preservative and is also good for your skin’s health. Most companies don’t use the natural type, because it costs more.

You may be unaware that most companies use synthetic vitamins derived from petrochemicals. Molecularly, they are supposed to be identical to the real thing. But, there is no way to know if they are actually good for the skin or the health of the rest of your body. I think of them as “plastic vitamins”. We can make plastic look identical to wood, but it is not the same thing.

So, a collagen booster should contain only natural ingredients. One of the better products on the market contains the protein keratin. It has been shown to stimulate the production of elastic fibers and increase the production of new skin cells. This action causes a thickening of the skin’s layers, which smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles.

Most collagen skin repair creams contain denaturalized or hydrolyzed collagens. The skin’s cells cannot use them. It’s like applying silly putty or gelatin to your face. It may feel tighter for a while, but it is really doing nothing beneficial for your skin’s health.

A true collagen booster provides improvement over time. When a company advertises that a collagen skin repair cream provides immediate results, the effect is purely cosmetic. Keratin provides some immediate benefit, but also repairs the skin’s cells over time.

To have a glowing skin you have to take care of it. Many skin care and beauty products are available in the market for sale, but very few are actually effective and healthy to maintain your beauty.

When shopping for beauty product, be sure to read the instructions carefully. Most of the beauty products are made from chemicals and synthetic ingredients like petroleum, alcohol, fragrances and mineral oil. When you use these products you might have side effects like irritation, inflammation and dryness of the skin. This will harm your skin and face if you use them for a long period of time.

The good quality beauty products have natural ingredients which are harmless and can provide your skin with the nutrients it needs. This type of skin cream will help to heal your skin naturally and have a beautiful facial look even as you age. The natural beauty products have extracts of herbs and vegetables, fruits having healing power. Many people make facial cream at home with the ingredients found in the kitchen.

The natural fruits and vegetable extracts not only make your skin glow, but also slows down the anti-aging process. To buy a quality beauty product you should check that it does not contain any chemical substances and should include ingredients from natural extracts like avocado extract, munakka honey, grape seed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin c, etc.

The product containing vitamin c increases the skin collagen level and also protects it from free radicals. CynergyTk is a natural compound that contains functional kertain which increases collagen and elastin proteins by stimulating your skin cells. Those ingredients form the basis of the most effective natural creams.

To select a product containing synthetic ingredients can be compared to sustaining oneself on fast food. It gives you instant taste and feeling of fullness, but in the long term it damages you. So buy genuine natural and organic skin care products made from ingredients that support and complement your skin’s natural process.

Giving a little caring time to your skin can lead you to a beautiful skin. When you give regular attention to your skin you can see some beneficial results. But more natural beauty care products are in vogue now and whilst they may take a little longer to produce results, they are longer lasting and have other health benefits.

There is a whole range of beauty care products in the market today. A particular brand of beauty care product will have all the items that you need for your personal beauty and skin care. It will include shampoo, conditioners, face creams, eye creams, hand and body creams, moisturizers, foundation, lipstick, lip balm and many others. You name it and you will find it available in the market.

The market is also full of herbal beauty care products so it is best to go in for beauty care products that have natural ingredients. They will take care of your skin properly and make you glow and look younger.

My 14 month old tried an avocado and loved it.. but she ate the whole thing? Is that ok?

are those good for them, or?

Yeah.
Avocado is-really healthy and prevents cancer

It provides vitamins.

Its soft so It wont hurt them

Let’s face it. When you’re trying to rate the collagen and elastin enhancers, the best source of information is actually the label of ingredients. Customers’ reactions are mixed on most products. Reviews show that many products cause more problems than they correct.

But, if you have the information provided by scientists and researchers, you can look for ingredients that they have tested and find products that are most likely to be effective. Also, if you want to avoid an adverse reaction, there are specific formulas to avoid. Although they may be effective for some people, they are often accompanied by unwanted side effects.

Some ingredients are simply unnecessary. Because of all of the allergic and adverse reactions that they cause, one would think that companies would stop including them in their products. But, the big companies stand by their old way of doing things. Maybe, as time goes by and more people get the information that they need, they’ll change their ways.

Ingredients to avoid include artificial preservatives like parabens and petroleum-based chemicals (petrochemicals) like propylene glycol. If you only need to rate the collagen and elastin enhancers that contain all-natural compounds, you end up with a much shorter list.

Added fragrances are unnecessary, as well. Companies use thousands of different chemicals to create those fragrances. None of them are good for your skin and many of them are toxic to the central nervous system. Using a dab of cologne or an essential oil like lavender or rosewater is fine. But, moisturizers, cleansers and other skincare products should be free of added fragrances. Some of the most effective ingredients are plant extracts, which have a mild, pleasant scent.

In order to rate the collagen and elastin enhancers for effectiveness, you should look at how many active compounds are included in the product. Some of the compounds that have proven safety and effectiveness, according to clinical trials, include coenzyme Q10, bioactive keratin, Shea butter, avocado oil, wakame kelp extracts, peptides and vitamin A.

Vitamin A is one of the ingredients that can cause redness, itching and excessive dryness, particularly in the concentrated retinol form. A number of plant-based oils, such as Shea butter and avocado oil contain enough beta-carotene (plant-based vitamin A) to be effective, without causing redness or irritation.

When you compare and rate the collagen and elastin enhancers designed for use under and around the eyes, peptides are important ingredients to look for. Two of the most effective peptide complexes are called EYELISS and HALOXYL. Clinical studies have shown that they reduce bags, wrinkles and dark circles after only a month of use.

Wakame kelp extracts are proven to prevent the loss of hyaluronic acid, which is almost as important as collagen and elastin fibers, when it comes to the skin’s firmness. Avocado oil has been shown to increase the amount of pro-collagen present in the skin’s surface. Shea butter and coenzyme Q10 have proven benefits, as well.

In conclusion, when we rate the collagen and elastin enhancers that contain bioactive keratin and compare them to other products, the difference is amazing. It’s a must-have ingredient.

Here, you can learn how to find the best anti wrinkle products in the world. Not every anti wrinkle skin care cream is safe and effective, but if you know which ingredients to look for, as well as those to avoid, you can find something that really works.

One of the recent introductions to the market was an ingredient called Argireline. The idea is that this synthetic protein can penetrate the skin’s outer layers and paralyze the tiny facial muscles. If that’s true, then the product is actually a drug and in the US, that means it must undergo safety testing. It’s more likely that it is not true.

Either way, the idea that habitual facial expressions causes wrinkles is somewhat behind the times. The best anti wrinkle products address the actual causes of an aged appearance, which includes reduced production of cells and collagen fibers, decreased levels of hyaluronic acid in the skin’s layers, and free radical damage.

For many years, one of the common anti wrinkle skin care ingredients has been estrogen. It is not listed as such on the label. It may be listed as amniotic fluid, placenta or estradiol. The hormone causes a kind of puffiness that stretches wrinkles out, temporarily. But, the hazard is that estrogens trigger the growth of certain types of breast and uterine cancer. So, these ingredients, like Argireline, should be avoided.

To avoid redness, itching and irritation, you should shop for anti wrinkle skin care creams that are free of artificial preservatives and added fragrances. Natural, nourishing compounds are the safest choices. The ones listed below have proven effectiveness and a proven safety record.

Shea Butter

This butter is derived from a nut. The best grades have pharmaceutical activity. In other words, they have medicinal benefits. In as little as four to six weeks, they can soften and smooth out wrinkles, heal blemishes, fade age spots and reduce stretch marks.

The best anti wrinkle products contain the most active grade that is manufactured using cold-press technology, which preserves the effectiveness of the nutrients obtained from the nut. It is usually found in anti wrinkle skin care night-creams and best when combined with avocado oil.

Avocado Oil

This is included in the best anti wrinkle products, because it has been shown to increase the amount of collagen present in the skin. It is one of the anti wrinkle skin care ingredients that addresses the issue of free radical damage, as well, because it contains both vitamin A and E.

Functional Keratin

Keratins in skincare products are usually processed in a manner that renders the protein inactive. Functional Keratin is new. The protein has been shown to stimulate skin-cell production, increase firmness, and relieve dryness, itching and dermatitis. It has unique antioxidant activity that prevents and repairs free radical damage.

It works best when combined with wakame kelp, which increases levels of hyaluronic acid. Functional Keratin can only be found in the best anti wrinkle products on the market today.

Reading this indicates that you are serious about making your anti wrinkle skin care effective and safe. I encourage you to continue your research, now better prepared.

how much solids for a 6mth old?

i started my 6mth old on solids last week.
so far he’s tried avocado (pureed/mashed) and he’s tried garden peas (pureed).
i give him an ice cube serving of solids for morning tea and another for afternoon tea. He also has 5 bottles (240ml) a day.

at the end of each solid feed, he’s upset and wanting more…
i don’t want to upset his stomach, so i don’t know if i should give more or not.

help???
should i go for 3 meals a day or up the serving size at the 2meals?

Follow your baby’s lead.

Give him his bottles first. After 1-2 of those bottles, offer solids and let him have as much as he wants. I wouldn’t go to three meals quite yet, unless he’s REALLY hungry.

100% pure skincare cleansers and moisturizers are the mainstays of holistic skincare routines. But, they are sometimes difficult to find. The only way to know for sure is to become familiar with common ingredients, the ones to avoid, as well as the ones to look for.

There are literally thousands to avoid, but most of them fall into specific categories that are relatively easy to identify. 100% pure skincare solutions do not contain:
* Petrochemicals, which include ethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, methyl, ethyl, benzophenone, oxybenzone and benzene derivatives
* Petrolatum, mineral oil and paraffin, derived from petroleum byproducts that are prone to contain cancer-causing contaminants
* Fragrance or perfume, could refer to any one or more of some 4000 different ingredients, many of which are toxic
* Artificial preservatives, including parabens

The basic tenet of a holistic skincare regimen is to apply nothing to the skin that you could not eat. One of the ways to find companies that adhere to that kind of philosophy is to look for manufacturers that have signed the “Compact for Safe Cosmetics”. They abide by regulations created by the European Union, in which thousands of toxic compounds were banned as cosmetic ingredients.

By comparison, it is more difficult to practice a holistic skincare routine with products manufactured in the US. Only a few very hazardous compounds have been banned.

Identifying safe and 100% pure skincare ingredients can sometimes be difficult. Manufacturers are required to list the ingredients according to the “International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients”. Some manufactures list the common names in parenthesis in order to help their customers.

Avocado extracts and oils, for example, are often used in creams and cleansers, because of all of the nutrients found in them. The skin’s health relies on an adequate intake of nutrients, which must come from our diet, from topically applied creams or both. The “official” name of avocado is Persea Gratissima.

The best daily cleansers for holistic skincare regimens are those that contain simple natural ingredients. Castile soap, for example, is made from olive oil, rather than animal fat. It may cost a little more, but it is better for your skin’s health.

100% pure skincare anti-aging solutions are a little more difficult, but not impossible, to find. By including ingredients like the antioxidant coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone), manufacturers are able to provide safe products that will help prevent wrinkles and sun damage. In the right concentrations, COQ10 has even been shown to reverse wrinkles.

Effective moisturizers have always been important parts of holistic skincare. Since ancient times, women have used grape seed (Vitis vinifera), jojoba and olive oil to protect against the drying effects of wind and sun.

Some of today’s best moisturizers for the face, hands and body contain those nourishing oils. They will cost a little more than the lotions you see in department stores and discount pharmacies, but they are definitely worth the investment.

If you follow the suggestions in this article, you can find 100% pure skincare solutions. It just takes a little effort.

benefits of avocado for skin

Don’t you hate it when you’re looking for a natural substance that reverses skin aging? You have several to choose from! This article looks at the benefits of avocado oil, Shea butter, the protein keratin, coenzyme Q10, wakame kelp extracts and natural vitamin E. There are many other beneficial ingredients. Those six are just some of the best.

Natural vitamin E has been used by some people for many years. It is found in many plant-based oils like grape seed and olive oil. Some women use those oils straight out of the bottle to moisturize and soften. The primary benefit of vitamin E has to do with its antioxidant activity. It is known to help prevent age spots and similar problems. It’s also an effective preservative, which makes it a good ingredient for any cosmetic. Most of them contain artificial preservatives, which are common allergens.

Wakame kelp has been used for many years, as well. Only recently was it learned that the benefit was to prevent the breakdown of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is often recommended as a natural substance that reverses skin aging, but it breaks down very quickly due to enzymatic activity. Wakame blocks that enzymatic activity, allowing levels to rise themselves, naturally.

Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant present in every cell of the body, but the amount in the skin’s cells is quickly depleted by overexposure to sunlight and the levels gradually become lower, as we age. It must be properly formulated to penetrate deeply, but when it does, it has an incredible anti-aging effect in a very short period of time. It has been shown to reverse wrinkles and roughness after only six weeks of use.

The protein keratin is a natural substance that reverses skin aging, but it too must be properly formulated. You couldn’t get the same effect by applying a meat puree to your face. In clinical trials, volunteers that used creams containing keratin saw improved firmness and reduce inflammation. Researchers were able to measure a 160% increase in skin cell production and a 20% improvement in moisture content after only three days of use.

There are various grades of Shea butter, but the highest grades are effective for fading brown spots, smoothing out wrinkles, fading stretch marks and reducing roughness. Avocado oil has been shown to provide many of those same benefits and increases the skin’s collagen content. That makes it a natural substance that reverses skin aging, because the skin’s collagen content is normally lower in older people.

Some of the better anti-aging creams on the market contain a variety of the ingredients mentioned here. You could try to cook something up in the kitchen, but why bother. Leave it to the experts.

Now that you know this, remember to avoid creams and lotions that contain ingredients called “essential oils”. The term is typically used to indicate concentrated plant fragrances, which can cause allergic reactions. A natural substance that reverses skin aging should be safe and non-allergenic. Just do a little research of your own, before you buy something.

What if I told you that natural collagen proteins, along with keratins and elastin, give the skin its strength, form and flexibility? And that the skin’s collagen content decreases with age? This is one of the primary causes of wrinkles and sagging.

Over the years, many companies have promoted the idea of “supplementing” protein levels by applying keratin or collagen-creams to the face. They would take animal skins, hooves or horns and soften them, using harsh chemicals and/or high temperatures.

You see, natural collagen and keratin are hard, not water soluble. In order to make it possible to include these compounds in creams and lotions, they had to first make them soluble. There are several problems with these manufacturing processes.

First of all, they render the proteins inactive, non-functional, and unavailable for use by the skin’s cells. Second, your skins collagen is not similar to the collagens found in most animals. So, a cream containing them might make your face or hands feel smoother, initially, but they are not really improving your skin’s health, moisture content or appearance.

Thirdly, the chemicals used during the processing remain in the resulting emulsion. Those chemicals are known irritants and allergens. That’s why most of the products on the market are not only ineffective, but many people report adverse reactions, as well.

One company (KERATEC) has found a way to gently extract keratin molecules from sheep’s wool and process them gently, so that the protein remains not only active, but digestible. They call it Functional Keratin and creams containing it have been proven in clinical studies to increase the number of new skin cells, thereby increasing the skin’s thickness and smoothing out wrinkles.

Now, KERATEC does not make skincare products, they make some of the “raw” ingredients. If you want to improve the natural collagen content and make your face look younger, you simply need to look for a company that includes Functional Keratin in their face creams. Not many of them do, but it is worth you time to look for them.

In a recent study, applying avocado oil was shown to increase the skins collagen content. Avocado oil is a little to heavy to wear during the day, but one company makes a night cream that includes both Functional Keratin and avocado oil. They also make an under eye gel that includes an extract from Canadian Brown Algae, which has also been shown to increase skin cell proliferation.

The skins collagen content is not the only protein level that you need to be concerned about, if you want to increase firmness. Hyaluronic acid, which binds the new cells together, levels also decrease with age. Certain kinds of kelp extracts have been shown to improve the skin’s hyaluronic acid levels, thereby increasing firmness.

Do yourself a favor… some companies are selling natural collagen supplements, claiming that they benefit or improve the skins collagen content. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I am all for supplementation, but those are very expensive and not any better than amino acid supplements. The body can produce its own natural collagen, if given the support that it needs. Now that you are armed with this information, finding skin care products that can help your body produce natural collagen are literally a click away.

If you suffer from Avocado Allergy then you suffer from allergies Type 1 or contact allergy. The proteins found in avocado trigger the immune system to reaction. Antibodies and histamines are releases into the blood stream in an attempt to neutralize the protein. These chemicals trigger the allergic symptoms. In sever cases Epinephrine, also call Adrenaline, is administered to control the anaphylaxis reaction.

Reactions usually begin within a couple of minutes to several hours after exposure to avocado. Mild symptoms involve skin redness, hives, or itching. In more sever cases the respiratory system is involved. Wheezing, coughing or difficulty in breathing may be noted. If any of the breathing symptoms occur or if the other symptoms are pronounced then prompt emergency treatment is needed.

Sensitivity can develop over time and may not appear when you are expose to the irritant the first several times. A good example of this is the growing number of healthcare workers that are becoming allergic to latex after regular and prolonged exposure to latex examination gloves.

Diagnosis of avocado allergies is usually performed by appropriate laboratory skin prick test. Self-diagnosis of avocado allergies can be done if a person has the same reaction every time after eating avocado.

Another test that can be performed is commonly called The Food Challenge. You are told to avoid all avocados for several weeks. The doctor will then have you eat only avocado under close supervision. If symptoms appear after eating the avocado then you are allergic to avocado and will need to avoid eating avocado in the future.

Since allergies to a single food are uncommon if you are allergic to avocado then the possibility of you developing a cross-reaction to other foods is increased. Because of the similarity between the allergens of latex and avocado if you are allergic to one then there is a good chance you may develop an allergy to the other. Other foods to be on the lookout for are banana, bay leaf, cantaloupe, chestnuts, cinnamon kiwi, and mango.

No mater what type of allergy you are suffering from their is a good chance that you can find relief from the allergy symptoms. Common Vitamins and over the counter products can help with Allergies such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and M.S.M.

Vitamin A is a known antioxidant and can assist the human body in the healing process. Vitamin A is stored in the liver and fat cells of the human body and can reach toxic levels. DO NOT take more than the recommended dosage of Vitamin A.

Vitamin C is nature’s protective nutrient, essential for defending the body against pollution and infection and enhances the bodies immune system.

Vitamin E protects the lung tissue from inhaled pollutants and aids in the functioning of the immune system.

M.S.M maintains the development of the body’s protein by forming flexible disulfide bonds between certain amino acids and in maintaining the strength of connective tissue. This allows water and nutrients to flow freely into cells and allows toxins to flow freely out of the cells. M.S.M increases athletic stamina and helps eliminate muscle soreness. M.S.M is a natural supplement that is getting a lot of attention due to its role in tissue healing at the cellular level. It is a natural organic sulfur that comes from rain fall and is found naturally in the human body.

Botanical skin care products are a wonderful choice, but how do you know they’re safe? That’s a good question because companies avoid disclosing the actual ingredients and instead use proprietary names.

They are also required to list the chemical nomenclature of the botanicals. It’s really hard to tell the difference between something naturally occurring and a synthetically created compound. The list of ingredients that you may run into are too numerous to completely cover here. But, I can give you a few hints.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)

Many botanical skin care products contain this ingredient. It’s commonly referred to as Shea butter. It is created by extracting the oil from the Shea nut tree, which grows in Africa. It’s an effective moisturizer, reduces scars, blemishes and brown spots.
It is often found in anti-aging products, because it smoothes out wrinkles and fine lines. It reduces inflammation and soothes burns and scrapes.

Undaria Pinnatifida (Kelp/Algae)

This is a variety of kelp or brown algae that grows in the Sea of Japan and other areas of the world. Its common name is wakame. You’ll see it on the menu at Japanese restaurants and in health food stores.

Botanical skin care products contain the extract, as it has been shown to increase the level of protein, specifically hyaluronic acid, found in the skin. It stimulates the immune system, reduces inflammation and helps to prevent allergic reactions.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel)

The common name is witch hazel. It’s an astringent that is extracted from the leaves and bark of the bush that grows wild in North America. It is used for cleaning, healing, soothing and to prevent infections.

Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado Oil)

The common name is avocado oil. It can be found in gourmet food shops and in botanical skin care products. It has many benefits. It’s an effective moisturizer. It stimulates collagen production and contains many of the nutrients necessary for the skin’s overall good health.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba)

The common name is jojoba. It has long been used to heal and soothe cuts and scrapes. As a moisturizer, jojoba is an excellent choice, because it balanced sebum production. It has proven effectiveness in treating acne and psoriasis, even though one condition causes excessive sebum production and the other causes reduced sebum production.

Creams that contain jojoba are perfect for people with combination skin types. They work well under makeup and make a soothing after shave lotion.

Other Botanical Skin Care Considerations

Botanicals provide just about everything that we need to take care of our skin’s health. But, try to fully evaluate the ingredients in a product before you buy. There are some organic creams on the market that still contain oxybenzone, even though it’s a known carcinogen.

Find A Company That Hides NOTHING

Look for a company that you can trust to provide ingredients that are completely safe and effective. Try to find a manufacturer that “spells it all out” for you. If they seem to be hiding behind proprietary labels, keep looking.

Please remember my advice: all botanical skin care products are not created equal. Take this opportunity to shop for the best botanical skin care.

How do you find the best skin firming face cream? It’s simple. Learn what ingredients to look for, what to avoid and read the label. Here’s some help.

What to Avoid

You should avoid parabens, thimerosal and other artificial preservatives. They tend to cause allergic reactions and some of them have been shown to cause cellular changes, which can increase your risk of cancer.

Fragrances should also be avoided, because they term is too broad. Companies are not required to reveal exactly which chemicals are used to create the fragrance. Many of them are known to be toxic to the nervous system. They can cause depression, mood swings and other mental disturbances.

Argireline is a new compound that has been called the best skin firming face lotion, at least by manufacturers that use the synthetic, protein-like substance. The compound has never been fully evaluated for safety and may cause the same adverse reactions that are caused by Botox injections.

You should not buy products intended for daily use that have an SPF rating. Dermatologists have advised that the constant use of these products can cause vitamin D deficiencies. But, what’s worse is that none of the compounds were fully evaluated for safety before being put on the market. Years after their release, we are now learning that many of them actually cause cancer.

The best skin firming face creams do not contain sunscreens, because they are unnecessary. They do not contain preservatives, because natural vitamin E benefits the skin and preserves the other ingredients.

What to Look For

Functional Keratin is a naturally occurring protein extracted from sheep’s wool. It is only found in the best skin firming face lotions, because it is a relatively expensive ingredient. Some companies that include the compound still provide affordable products, by limiting their advertising and other costs.

In clinical research, the protein has been shown to increase elasticity or firmness by 27% after the first use. The added bonus is that 24 hours later, the firmness measured is still 22% higher than before treatment. In other words, you can continue to look better and better.

The compound has also been shown to increase the production of skin cells. We need new cells to create new collagen and elastin fibers. Loss of collagen and elastin naturally accompanies aging and “naturally” causes wrinkles and sagging.

Whether you are looking to fight wrinkles or stretch marks, Functional Keratin can help. Other ingredients to look for include jojoba, grape seed, olive and avocado oils. Something I forgot to mention above is to avoid petrolatum. It is the most common base cream available, but it is ineffective and inhibits the natural rejuvenation process.

Jojoba and the other plant oils are very similar to the skin’s own sebum. They are effective moisturizers and moisture equals elasticity and firmness. Dryness equals sagging. The best skin firming face lotion contains a number of natural moisturizers, functional keratin and lots of antioxidants. All of them work together to improve your appearance and your skin’s overall health.

Many people are still not aware that some skin care products are not good for your skin. Many people also believe that they should use an oil free moisturizer. The real issue is that people should be using a non pore clogging moisturizer. Some oil should be avoided, but not all oils are bad for your skin.

Some of the best non pore clogging moisturizers contain natural oils that are very good for your skin. The important point to note is that you need to know which oils to avoid and which ones are ok.

You will see mineral oil in many skin care products. However, this oil should be avoided. Mineral oil will clog your pores. It will not be found in non pore clogging moisturizer products. If the pores are clogged then you could develop skin problems such as acne because the skin is unable to breathe properly.

The best advice I can give is to avoid anything product that contains mineral oil, it is also called paraffin wax, liquid paraffin and petrolatum. Cosmetic companies continue to use mineral oil because it is a very cheap additive.

A non pore clogging moisturizer can contain natural oils that have been proven to be good for your skin’s overall appearance and good health.

Briefly, I will go over some of the better natural oils you can use on your skin. You have probably heard of macadamia nuts, well macadamia oil is very good to your skin and does not clog your pores. This oil is easily absorbed into the skin and does not feel greasy. One of the main benefits of this oil is that it helps to protect the skin cells from aging prematurely.

An important oil that is considered a non pore clogging moisturizer is avocado oil. This oil is high in anti-oxidants that help to reverse the damage caused by free radicals. Other benefits of this oil are that it provides moisture to your skin.

Active Manuka honey is quite a different type of honey from New Zealand. It holds special healing properties for the skin and works effectively at restoring natural proteins the skin requires to maintain its texture and elasticity.

More natural oils and natural substances work to restore the luster to your skin. Stay away from mineral oils and stick to non pore clogging moisturizers. I have more information on natural skin care products and their ingredients on my website.

Before you buy anti aging natural skin care products, take the time to really read the label of ingredients. The best anti aging skin care creams do contain all-natural ingredients, but sometimes the “all-natural” claim is just an advertising gimmick.

Like other cosmetics, anti aging natural skin care products are not well regulated. Government agencies like the Food and Drug Administration have tried to have some of their claims legally defined, like “doctor tested”, “hypoallergenic” and “organic”, but, so far, they haven’t been successful. It is up to the consumer to learn about the ingredients that are commonly used; good and bad.

The best anti aging skin care creams are free of artificial preservatives and other additives. Natural vitamin E is one of the best preservatives that there is, but it costs more than the synthetic kind. So, most companies choose to go the artificial route. Look for alpha tocopherol on the label of ingredients and avoid products that contain parabens.

Added fragrances are trouble-making ingredients. They cause a lot of allergic reaction, but almost all cosmetics have an added fragrance. In anti aging natural skin care products, manufacturers often use linalool, a plant-based fragrance. To use a small amount would be fine, but in products that are designed to cover a large area, such as your face, you are much safer without added fragrances. Light scents accompany botanicals and other plant extracts, making them pleasant to wear, without being irritating.

The best anti aging skin care creams contain several different plant extracts. Wakame kelp extract is an example of a safe and effective ingredient to look for. It has been shown to inhibit the breakdown of an important complex partially responsible for your skin’s strength and elasticity. That compound is called hyaluronic acid.

Older people have lower levels of hyaluronic acid in the epidermal layer of their skin. As the levels get lower and lower, the skin’s layers become more and more saggy. Most companies simply put a little hyaluronic acid in their creams. The best anti aging skin care creams contain wakame kelp extracts to prevent it from breaking down.

Avocado oil is a good ingredient for anti aging natural skin care products. Researchers have found that it increases the amount of soluble collagen in volunteer’s faces. Collagen is another of the compounds responsible for firmness. Production normally declines with age, but a little avocado should get it going again.

Some of the best anti aging skin care products are designed for use at night, while you sleep. This is when the body normally goes about repairing and replacing damaged cells and tissues. If you can find a night cream that contains cold-pressed Shea butter, avocado oil and manuka honey, then you should see an amazing difference in your appearance in a very short time. That’s particularly true for people that have not been using these anti aging natural skin care products. Don’t take the manufacturers word for it. Read the label of ingredients to find a real winner.

In the 40 years since the first Super Bowl was played between Green Bay and Kansas City, Super Bowl Sunday has grown into an unofficial national holiday that has shopping and economic effects rivaling Christmas, Thanksgiving and other major official holidays. Whether it’s a casual get together with a few friends or a lavish, catered party, 125 million Americans celebrated the Super Bowl in some fashion in 2006. Even those with little interest in football get in on the craze, if only to watch the commercials.

Understanding this unique opportunity, advertisers spare no expense to showcase their products and services during the Super Bowl. Advertisers paid up to $2.5 million dollars for each 30 seconds of advertising during Super Bowl XL in 2006. Agencies work on their advertisements all year, and the Super Bowl has become the unofficial Academy Awards of advertising. There are almost as many websites and television programs analyzing the advertisements as there are analyzing the game.

The food and beverage industry also profits from Super Bowl Sunday. Super Bowl Sunday is second only to Thanksgiving in the amount of food that Americans prepare and consume. In the weeks leading up to Super Bowl XL, Americans spent $55 million dollars on food for their Super Bowl parties and spent ten million hours preparing it. Since it is estimated that an average of 17 people attend each Super Bowl Party, these figures are not surprising.

The king of Super Bowl food is the avocado. More avocados are sold in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl that at any other time of the year. It is estimated that 12 million pounds of avocados are purchased and turned into guacamole for Super Bowl parties. Since guacamole requires chips, 15,000 tons of chips are consumed as well. All that food needs washing down and soda and beer sales also top out during the weeks preceding the big game.

It’s not just food and beverage manufacturers who profit. Millions of dollars are spent on party supplies like paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery. Electronics stores also benefit. After all, you need that big-screen TV in order to properly appreciate the game. Even sales of antacids spike on the Monday following Super Bowl Sunday. There’s a good reason for that. The estimated total time that party-goers take to consume all that carefully prepared food: 15 minutes.
